- Ink and colored pencil on layered and cut watercolor paper. I push needles through the paper which elevates it above a collage background. The illustration is protected with spray varnish and built into the shadowbox.

- "Haku" is the magical water dragon from "Spirited Away". I have always loved and been inspired by Miyazaki's movies.
